A TIME FOR DRUNKEN HORSES
This is an interesting and insightfull look at life in some Islamic country's of the middle east, and the interview with the artist afterwards was also very interesting,Your heart goes out to the family of children trying to survive in the desolation of the cold dry wastelands where Iran Iraq and afganistan's borders meet,he truly captured the harsh landscape made harsher in the light of the child led family with little adult supervision and no [adult] monitary support, survival forces the kind of adult responsability on children that we as americans have simply outlawed as immoral, peroid, but as we feel rightfully sorry for them and justifiably open out pocketbooks to help the American Red Cross Relief Agency's to bring badly needed food, drugs and supplies, remember that it is indeed oil greed as the author admits that is primarily to blame for the situation these ancient peoples find themselves in AND it is Islam that is culturally to blame for the backward and racist(yes I said it)sexist and general[here adult males have all the rights and only the responsabilities they aknowledge)attitude
that prevails.the sad fact is that they will never be at peace, lets face it, there is nothing that can be done that would change the fact that it is like that over there for a reason,a reason that is older than America and older than oil too,the cultural wars in the middle east have been forced upon us by our love of excess and if God tarries, even the oil will run out BUT their differences, are eternal.

This is just another sad excuse for islamic propoganda masqurading as art,the story is dark, disjointed and can you spell segway?it just hops from one scene to another, teenage angst is again channeled into corrupt islamic idealogy, terrorism plain and simple,by people with no money,no life, and nothing else to do to make thier lives meaningful, especially not Islam, which in one scene is called a religion of peace? That is the problem, the linktv news and film are so busy portraying muslims as innocent victims of U.S.oppression that it is impossible to tell the whole story ,both sides of it,such as the atrocities being perpetrated on the truly innocent in north Africa by islamic death squads, victims are numbered at half a million at least, although it sometimes showed Isalm as the rot,the real pestilence it is to poor, free and democratic people,a poorly thought out and poorly executed sham of a film intended to excite sympathy for those that dont deserve our sympathy, the terrorists ,and as usual with Islam, without so much as a sorry for all the rapes, robberys, mutilations, and murders, link tv would be more fair and balanced if they replace fiction like this with airtime for DucheWelle news.Sincerely, arcom

Excellant film,
At the beginning he was like a beautiful butterfly, flying wild and free.Expressing all his joy and talent in his art/dancing.Then,at a time when he was searching for some guidance or direction,to achieve his dreams,fg7,.he turns to the people he trusts and loves who are SUPPOSED to care for his welfare the most, and each try to 'catch' him in their own butterfly nets. His own father, can't be un-selfish with his son, neither can his 'adored' girlfriend. And,a man(jihadist recruiter)who could be a good substitute father merely wants to mould him into his personal assassin,to do his dirty work for him.I felt that the young man(Bahta?)should have asked his 'mentor','If you believe all this why haven't YOU "martyred yourself YET?' His beautiful enthusiasm was suffogated by those who should have nurtured it.
It just reminded me of that beautiful butterfly in a garden and everyone was trying to trap him,for their own purposes. He began lonely and confused, and ended lonely and confused, with just the little boy in the cart at the end, singing his sad legacy.
How to drown a human soul?
