p.s.This is the BBC news conference(yesterday 16th) on the dedication and opening of the new Monument to Journalism at BBC HQ in London.
Ban Ki moon,U.N.sec.gen. outlines how the International Law/U.N. Resolution SHOULD be protecting Journalists.
1,000 Journalists have died in the last 10 years. Many of them murdered.
The monument beacon will light up every night in London, and is called 'Breathing'.

Dear LinkTV,
At a time when the worlds Free Press is struggling to get out the true facts, without censorship, they are coming under MORE AND MORE danger and are often now the first target in the sights of the gunmen, because the camera is the ENEMY of those doing wrong!
Whilst journalists,world-wide risk their lives, and some are, quite rightly, honoured with recognition and respect,SO MANY others are dead or maimed with no-one being held accountable for their delibarate cold-blooded murder.
I recently saw a documentary called,'Shooting The Messenger',presented by Michael Nicholson(British ITN)on Al Jazeera(English)website. This was a powerful documentary showing us exactly what these professionals,WORLD-WIDE,go through EACH DAY to bring us the truth from the frontlines.
Very poignantly,it includes the work of Fadel Shanna and James Miller who were murdered because they were CLEARLY IDENTIFIABLE journalists just telling the truth with their camera lenses.
The documentary is powerful and should be seen by everyone who appreciates, and values the world's Free Press.
And reminds us that those responsible MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE,especially when the camera and microphone HOLD ALL the evidence to convict their killers.
Please,LINKTV, show this documentary,SOON!!!!
