Both are pretty set in stone about their beliefs and loyalties.
It's called tunnel vision.
I do think though,that BIDENS 'tunnel' is however,wider,more brightly lit,and better ventilated,with not SO MANY blind mice in!
Joe Biden is just playing 'political loyalty' musical chairs!
He is a POLITICIAN,and pretty well-versed globally,diplomatically and comparably!

But,the thing that REALLY worries ME,is that Palin IS NOT A GLOBAL POLITICIAN AT ALL,experientally,intellectually,or spiritually(which has nothing to do with religion).
Plus,she comes ready-wrapped in a TIGHT package of radical-right fundamentalist blind faith!
Which she is ENTITLED to hold,personally, as is her wont.
But that,is NOT appropriate OR Constitutional,for what is still classed as The Democratic Republic of the United States of America.
She herself,is ALREADY on her OWN personal 'jihad'(struggle)or faith based 'Crusade'.
That,is not SAFE,objective enough,OR politically appropriate for our White House,"Democracy" or the AMERICAN Congressional process.
Other parts of the world perhaps BUT NOT AMERICA!

As far as Palin,and her faith,is concerned,EVERYONE WHO DOES NOT follow HER FAITH,is doomed to die and burn in damnation when the "rapture" comes,unless they convert,double-quick-time to Christianity(whether they believe in ONE GOD or not) lol!
So,why would she care about ANYONE or any nation,IN IT'S OWN RIGHT,FAITH AND CULTURE sincerely,when in her mind they're a GONNER already,anyway?
This is a woman who wouldn't EVEN allow,in Alaska,full State Free,or reduced rate medical services to raped and abused,usually poverty stricken indigenous WOMEN(rape kits)!
That's ready-wrapped rascism,bigotry and dangerous denial OF ALL 'OTHERS'!

Woman or not,feminism,and 'emancipation' would pale into the shadows under her tenets or slide back 100 years! lol!

The one and only winner of the debate between Palin and Biden is Israel.

What a repeated and boring political circus that has no elements of innovation or change in it! Also thank you for pointing out that the surge is only the flavor du jour.

I have to give credit where credit is due. Last night, Sarah Palin managed to say Ahmadinejad three times without stumbling or stuttering like her partner John McCain did when he debated Barack Obama. And yes, I know she confused McClellan for David McKiernan when referring to the commanding general in Afghanistan.

But when it came to the Middle East, both candidates forgot to bring their "Middle East 101" manuals to the podium with them.
